- Swedish artist Ann Wåhlström has made glass for companies from Ikea through to Kosta Boda and is well known for her sense of colour and simplicity of design.
- Her inspiration comes from nature, ancient architecture and children’s book illustration (she cites Moomin creator Tove Jansson as a huge influence). For the past few years Wåhlström has been producing glass works handblown in Seattle and Tacoma where she collaborates with hugely talented blowers that can offer her a different perspective from her Swedish roots.
